I Remember

I remember my pre-school days
The huge two-story doll house
where you needed to go up a ladder
To get to the "funner" half
I remember the yelling and the screaming
of kids fighting and my group of friends
Pushing around the quiet kids
I remember the squishy putty-like substance
That tasted salty when I liked my fingers
When I use to like the sensation of Play-Doh in my mouth
Those were the days
I remember racing  all my classmates around the jungle gym
I won every time!
I remember a boy named Bryant
He had an odor of dirty boogers on a Friday night
But we all loved him anyways
I remember I wore dresses every week
pretending it was my birthday
I remember I was the "nice girl" in my group of friends
When I  saw my best friend disrespecting a girl
I blew my friend off and went with the other girl
I remember when my other friend learned how to tie her show before me
I was still on the Velcro stage
I remember riding my squeaky tricycle
as a bird hovered over me
And pooped out a white-greenish goo
That traumatized me for life!
I remember my first crush
His name was Raul
I got him to like me by giving him a Batman sticker
I remember the delicious mayonnaise and American cheese sandwiches
with milk during lunch time
I remember the 15-minute naps
we had everyday
And the teachers caught me sucking my thumb under the covers!
oops!Uh Oh!"

Evil Kitty

This Essay was written my freshman year, but I really enjoyed writing this crazy piece of writing and I hope you  enjoy it also!

Look at those luscious legs, that sexy blond hair, and those gorgeous green eyes. His name was "Poofy". Poofy, who was also known as "Kitty", was the hottest cat on our block. I loved him like no other animal. He was an innocent angel, well, that is, until you tuned your back. One night I was sleeping on my living room couch and as I was asleep, I started to feel some sharp pains on my face, like as if someone were to pierce my flesh with pins and needles. I opened my eyes and I realized I was face-to-face with the evil demon kitty of fluff. We looked into each other's eyes, and all i could see was the foulest puff ball that anyone could imagine! I closed my eyes again, hoping to continue my rest for school the next morning. But then, I start to feel nibbles on my toes. Now, who could THAT be? I kick Puffy off of my little toes and hoped he would fall off and leave me alone for the rest of the night. As I lay in bed, awaiting Poofy's next move to counter-attack my kick, I notice the darkness in the room; it was pitch black and I started feeling a little frightened. That demon kitty just kept coming! I swear I could hear him say,"I'm Baaaack!" but it was a ll in my head.
Ever since that night, he just got worse and worse. My mom stupidly wanted to give him a bath. He ended up clawing  my mom all over her back and shoulders. Blood everywhere, God damn! Kitty has done it again! Kitty used the bathroom a lot! the whole house would be smelling like kitty litter and poo. My mom decided, it was smelling too bad, so she gave him to my dad so he could take care of him. He loved it over there, he had total freedom. But as months passed, I noticed him getting fatter and fatter. The weird thing was, that the fatter he got, the more I loved him.Hmm, yeah, i know... strange.
There was a time where I hadn't visited my dad in awhile, and when I came back, Poofy was gone. And nobody knew what happened to him. Some say he died, others said he ran away. But you know what i think, I think he's living amongst the shadows selling crack whores on the corners for 50 cents. No, not really, but, hey, it's a thought!Well, whatever happened to that evil little demon ball of fluff, I hope he's living his life to the fullest!
